AN OVERVIEW
Carousel Project LLC periodically will host retreats:
Adoptive, foster, or kinship mothers who parent a traumatized child are invited to participate in a Recapture the Joy Retreat. (Small group 5-10 people total) This retreat is an interactive psychoeducational, personal trauma intensive workshop where participants will have the opportunity to identify and address personal trauma issues from personal experiences, disenfranchised grief of exposure to your child’s trauma, trauma as a result of parenting the child, and trauma from community responses to parenting a traumatized child.
All Retreats are Faith-Based, Trauma-Informed, & Attachment-Focused
